Auvelais es una aldea en la provincia belga de Namur y un distrito de Sambreville. La aldea se encuentra en un meandro del Samber.
El municipio de Auvelais se formó en 1809 por la fusión de Auvelais-le-Comté y Auvelais-le-Voisin. Después de las fusiones municipales de 1977, Auvelais se convirtió en la sede del nuevo municipio fusionado de Sambreville.
