Adinkerke liegt in der Westhoek, am Kanal Nieuwpoort-Dunkerque. Westlich des Dorfkerns, in Richtung Frankreich, befindet sich ein Dünenbereich, der Rest des Gebietes ist Polderland.
In Adinkerke befindet sich der Freizeitpark Plopsaland, früher die Meli. Der Militärfriedhof Adinkerke, bestehend aus einem belgischen Militärfriedhof aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg und einem britischen Militärfriedhof mit Gräbern aus beiden Weltkriegen. Die römisch-katholische Gemeinde und Kirche sind nach Saint Audomarus benannt. Die Sint-Audomarus-Kirche ist eine neogotische Hallenkirche. Der romanische Kirchturm dateiert teilweise aus dem 12. Jahrhundert.
