Hollange ist ein besonders ruhiges und charakteristisches Ardennendorf in der Provinz Luxemburg, etwas abseits der großen Ardennenstraße N4 und an der Strange, etwa 12 km südlich von Bastogne. An dieser Stelle kreuzten einst die römischen Heerstraßen Arlon-Tongern und Bavay-Trier. Die Umgebung von Hollange war bereits früh besiedelt. Davon zeugt, im Portal des natursteinernen Kirchleins, ein großer, neolithischer Stein, an dem unsere Vorfahren aus der Steinzeit ihre Waffen und Werkzeuge schärften.
