Dieses Naturschutzgebiet liegt an einem steilen Talhang der Schelde. Der Wald gehört der Natuurpunt vzw und der flämischen Regierung. Seit 1992 kümmert sich eine Arbeitsgruppe von Freiwilligen um die Waldpflege. Wanderer können das wertvolle Gebiet entlang zweier Wanderwege erkunden.
