An monumentalen Kirchen herrscht in Antwerpen sicher kein Mangel. Die Kathedrale und die St. Carolus Borromeuskirche sind die bekanntesten von ihnen, aber es gibt noch eine Menge andere wie z. B. die St. Pauluskirche. Sie liegt etwas versteckt zwischen den Häusern und gibt erst ihre Geheimnisse preis, wenn man sie besucht. Sie beherbergt über 50 Gemälde von großen Meistern wie Rubens, van Dyck und Jordaens: Jedes Museum ist neidisch auf so eine Sammlung. Auch der Kalvarienberg, ein Garten mit über 60 lebensgroßen Skulpturen, die die Kreuzigung Jesu darstellen, ist wirklich sehenswert.
