Man kann die Sjouwer bereits von weitem sehen, ein Denkmal, das zu Ehren der Grenzarbeiter errichtet wurde. Paul Deman war nicht der einzige, der in der Grenzregion eine Menge Schweiß ließ. Für uns ist es noch etwas zu früh, um schon zu schwitzen, also paddeln wir gemütlich weiter.
