Die Blaarmeersen ist ein Sport- und Freizeitpark ganz in der Nähe des historischen Stadtzentrums von Gent. Er ist gut von ganz Flandern aus zu erreichen und verfügt unter anderem über einen Badeteich mit Strand, einen Abenteuerwald für Kinder und mehrere Kilometer befestigte Wanderwege. Außerdem gibt es dort Plätze für alle möglichen Sportarten, eine große Tennisanlage und sogar eine Tauchzone von 15 Metern Tiefe. In den vier Cafeterien kann man etwas trinken oder einen Imbiss essen. Die Blaarmeersen garantieren puren Spaß und sind täglich kostenlos zugänglich.
