De Blaarmeersen is een sport- en recreatiepark vlak bij het historisch stadscentrum van Gent. Het is goed bereikbaar vanuit heel Vlaanderen en beschikt onder meer over een zwemvijver met strand, een avonturenbos voor de kinderen en enkele kilometers verharde wandelwegen. Verder heb je er terreinen voor alle mogelijke sporten, een groot tenniscomplex en zelfs een duikzone van 15 meter diep. In de vier cafetaria's kan je iets drinken of een hapje eten. De Blaarmeersen staan garant voor puur plezier en zijn dagelijks gratis toegankelijk.
