Die Gileppe-Talsperre hat zwei emblematische Merkmale und zwar zum einen den Aussichtsturm und zum anderen den berühmten Steinlöwen. Beide ziehen jedes Jahr eine große Anzahl von Besuchern an, die ebenfalls Wander-, Fahrrad- oder Reitmöglichkeiten suchen.
Der Talsperren-Löwe ist ein Werk von Félix Antoine Bouré, er ist immerhin 13,50 m hoch, 16 m lang und 5 m dick.
Der 77,6 m hohe Panoramaturm ist im oberen Teil vollständig verglast und durch einen Aufzug zugänglich. Vom Panoramarestaurant aus, ganz oben, genießt man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Talsperre und den Hertogenwald. Am Fuß des Turms können Sie auch eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten genießen: Baumklettern, Mountainbike- und E-Bike-Verleih, Geocaching, kostenlose Ausstellung, ausgeschilderte Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren.
