Lac De La Gileppe

The Gileppe dam complex comprises two emblematic features, the panoramic tower and the famous lion, which attract a large number of visitors on hiking, cycling and horseback excursions every year.
The 77.6 m panoramic tower has an elevator that takes visitors up to a fully glazed top section, where you can admire a magnificent view across the dam and the Hertogenwald forest.
The lion is a work by Félix Bouré and is 13.50m high, 16m long and 5m wide.
At the foot of the tower, you can also enjoy a host of activities: Accrobranch tree climbing park, all-terrain and e-bike hire, Geocaching, tower and panoramic elevators, panoramic restaurant, free exhibition, signposted walks and bicycle trails.
