Dieses Werk, „Fontaine des enfants disparus“, entstand im Jahr 2000 während des Nachwirkungen der Dutroux-Affäre.
Es wurde von einem Mitarbeiter der Stadtverwaltung, Pierre-Jean Deffernez, entworfen und zum Gedenken an Julie und Mélissa und alle vermissten Kinder aufgestellt. Das Denkmal wurde symbolisch vor dem Justizpalast aufgestellt.
