An der Stelle des im 14. Jahrhundert gegründeten und 1642 aufgelösten Beginenhofs „delle tour“ wurde um 1760 gegen das verschwundene Kloster der Grauen Nonnen oder Récollectines eine ehemalige Zufluchtsstätte der Abtei von Malonne errichtet.
Der Bischofspalast wurde seit Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts von Monsignore Pisani de la Gaude um einen Flügel für das Sekretariat, einen großen Salon und mehrere Nebengebäude erweitert. Als Ersatz für die vorherige Kapelle wurde eine neugotische Kapelle errichtet, die komplett ausgemalt und auf das Jahr 1859 datiert ist.
Dieses sehr schöne U-förmige Herrenhaus aus Ziegeln und Kalkstein im Louis-XV-Stil mit einem gepflasterten Innenhof , der auf der Straßenseite von einer hohen Mauer umgeben ist, ist verputzt und bemalt. Das Hauptgebäude hat einen geschwungenen Giebel mit dem Motto „Benevole et fortiter“ und dem Wappen des Abbé Bonvoisin.
