GR 565 Sniederspad

DE - Der Sniederspfad verbindet Antwerpen (Deurne) und Bladel in Nordbrabant, Niederlande. Der Name dieses GR-Pfades wurde zu Ehren zweier Schriftsteller, der Brüder Snieders, die Zeitgenossen von Conscience waren, vergeben. Der Pfad verband ihre Heimatstadt Bladel mit dem Ort, an dem sie arbeiteten (Antwerpen und Turnhout).

GR 565 ist ein Teilabschnitt eines europäischen Wanderwegs E2 "Nordsee-Riviera". Diese Route beginnt in Schottland und endet in Nizza, am Mittelmeer. In Flandern wird die E2-Route größtenteils von der GR 5A von Ostende nach Antwerpen gebildet. Die GR E2 bildet die Verbindung zum Park Rivierenhof. In Deurne folgt die E2 dann dem weiß-roten Weg der GR 565 "Sniederspad" bis zum 'Boshuisje' in Zoersel. Hier verbindet sie sich mit der GR 5 und geht weiter über Diest in die Umgebung von Lüttich, in Richtung Luxemburg und Frankreich.

EN - The Snieders trail connects Antwerp (Deurne) and Bladel in North Brabant, the Netherlands. The name of this GR trail was given in honour of two writers, the Snieders brothers, who were contemporaries of Conscience. The trail connected their hometown of Bladel with where they worked (Antwerp and Turnhout).

GR 565 is a sub-section of a European Hiking Trail E2 "North Sea-Riviera". This route starts in Scotland and ends in Nice, on the Mediterranean. In Flanders, the E2 route is largely formed by the GR 5A from Ostend to Antwerp. GR E2 forms the connection with the park Rivierenhof. In Deurne, the E2 then follows the white-red trail of GR 565 "Sniederspad" until the 'Boshuisje' in Zoersel. Here it connects with GR 5 and continues via Diest to the vicinity of Liège, towards Luxembourg and France.
