Die Wanderung startet am ehemaligen Rathaus (1903) von Poppel und führt über ruhige Landwirtschaftswege durch Landwirtschafts- und Waldgebiete. Zwischen den Punkten 25 und 26 folgen wir dem schlängelnden AA. Dann geht es entlang abwechselnd Feldern und Waldstücken bis zur Kapelle von Rovert (1735), die an der niederländischen Grenze liegt.
