Carona ist ein Quartier der Stadt Lugano im Schweizer Kanton Tessin. Die ehemalige Gemeinde bildet seit dem 14. April 2013 ein Quartier von Lugano, das zum Kreis Lugano West gehört.
Der Ort liegt auf einer etwa 400 Meter über dem Luganersee gelegenen Terrasse zwischen dem Monte San Salvatore und dem Monte Arbostora, sieben Kilometer südlich des Stadtzentrums von Lugano.
