Der Grosse St. Bernhard-Pass liegt auf 2469 m. Er ist der dritthöchste Strassenpass der Schweiz. Sie verbindet Martigny im Kanton Wallis in der Schweiz mit Aosta in Italien. Er liegt zwischen den beiden höchsten Gipfeln der Alpen, dem Mont Blanc und dem Monte Rosa. Der Pass selbst befindet sich in der Schweiz, ganz in der Nähe von Italien. Es befindet sich an der Hauptwasserscheide, die das Einzugsgebiet der Rhône von dem des Po trennt.
