Der Altmann ist mit 2435 m ü. M. der zweithöchste Berg des Alpsteins und der Appenzeller Alpen insgesamt an der Grenze der Kantone Appenzell Innerrhoden und St. Gallen in der Schweiz. Er besteht aus Kalkstein.
Der Name Altmann stammt vom romanischen Altus Mons, was hoher Berg bedeutet und entwickelte sich im Laufe der Zeit über Altmon zu Altmann.
