Der Bahnhof Bern ist der Bahnhof der Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen , der BLS AG und der Schmalspurbahn Regionalverkehr Bern–Solothurn sowie der Knotenpunkt für das S-Bahn-Netz der Stadt Bern, Schweiz. Er ist nach dem Hauptbahnhof Zürich der zweitgrösste Bahnhof der Schweiz.
Der Bahnhof Bern liegt am Westrand der Altstadt. Sein Empfangsgebäude mit südlichem Hauptzugang befindet sich zwischen Burgerspital und Heiliggeistkirche. Die Gleise und Bahnsteige verlaufen im Bogen zwischen Richtung Nordost und West. An demselben Ort befand sich bis 1860 das Schallenhaus, das erste Gefängnis der Schweiz.
