Unter der Bezeichnung Prähistorische Pfahlbauten um die Alpen, vom 5. bis zum 1. Jahrtausend v. Chr., führt die UNESCO 111 Fundstellen prähistorischer Pfahlbauten in der Schweiz, in Deutschland, Österreich, Italien, Frankreich und Slowenien als Weltkulturerbe.
Die Fundstellen wurden 2011 in die Liste des UNESCO-Welterbes aufgenommen. Die Bewerbung lief unter der Federführung der Schweiz. So fand die offizielle Verleihung am 10. September 2011 im schweizerischen Neuchâtel statt. Alle anderen Fundorte von Pfahlbausiedlungen im Umfeld der Alpen gelten als assoziierte Stationen der 111 direkt aufgenommenen Fundorte. Damit liegt die Gesamtzahl im Welterbe Prähistorische Pfahlbauten um die Alpen bei etwas über 900 und steigt mit jedem neuen Fund.
