In den Sommermonaten treffen sich viele Biker oft am Wochenende auf dem Gipfel, um zu plaudern, was zu einer beträchtlichen Anzahl von Motorrädern auf dem Parkplatz führt. Ebenso fahren begeisterte Radfahrer den Köterberg hinauf. Die Straße zwischen dem Dorf Köterberg und dem Gipfel hat eine maximale Steigung von 14 %. Funkamateure nutzen den Gipfel, da er ein hervorragender Standort für Transmission und Empfang ist. Im Köterberghaus befindet sich ein Restaurant.
