Die Stadt Würselen, auch als Stadt der Jungenspiele bekannt, ist eine mittlere regionsangehörige Stadt in der nordrhein-westfälischen Städteregion Aachen.
Würselen liegt am Autobahnkreuz Aachen in unmittelbarer Nähe des Dreiländerecks Belgien/Deutschland/Niederlande. Nachbarstädte sind im Uhrzeigersinn Herzogenrath, Alsdorf, Eschweiler und Aachen. Würselen gehört zum Nordkreis Aachen und ist das einzige Mitglied der Städteregion ohne Außengrenzen.
