Wackerow ist eine Gemeinde im Norden des Landkreises Vorpommern-Greifswald, die an die Universitäts- und Hansestadt Greifswald angrenzt. Die Gemeinde wird vom Amt Landhagen mit Sitz in Neuenkirchen verwaltet.
Wackerow liegt nördlich des Flusses Ryck etwa zwei Kilometer nordwestlich von Greifswald. Durch die Gemeinde verläuft die Bundesstraße 105. Die Bundesautobahn 20 ist über die Anschlussstelle Greifswald erreichbar. Durch Wackerow führt die Bahnstrecke Angermünde–Stralsund.
