Radeberg ist eine Große Kreisstadt im Südwesten des sächsischen Landkreises Bautzen am Rande der Dresdner Heide. Radeberg ist die Stadt mit der höchsten Bevölkerungsdichte des Landkreises.
Durch Radeberg fließen die Große Röder und die Schwarze Röder, die an der Mittelmühle in erstere mündet. Am westlichen Stadtrand beginnt die Dresdner Heide, ein flachwelliges, nahezu geschlossenes Waldgebiet von mehr als 50 km² Fläche. Nördlich und östlich von Radeberg zeigen sich die westlichen Ausläufer des Lausitzer Berglandes. Die Stadt liegt im Naturraum des Westlausitzer Hügel- und Berglandes. Die Stadt gibt auch der Region rundum den Namen „Radeberger Land“.
