Glückstadt ist eine an der Unterelbe in der Metropolregion Hamburg gelegene Kleinstadt in Schleswig-Holstein. Nach Itzehoe ist sie die zweitgrößte Stadt im Kreis Steinburg. Überregional bekannt ist sie vor allem durch die traditionsreiche Matjes-Produktion sowie auch durch die Elbfähre Glückstadt–Wischhafen, die die holsteinischen Elbmarschen mit dem niedersächsischen Elbe-Weser-Dreieck verbindet.
