Neukirch/Lausitz ist ein Ort und die zugehörige Gemeinde im Südosten des Bundeslandes Sachsen. Es gehört zum Landkreis Bautzen und liegt eingebettet zwischen zwei Bergzügen des Oberlausitzer Berglandes am Fuße des reich bewaldeten 587 m hohen Valtenberges.
Der Valtenberg ist der Neukircher Hausberg. An ihm entspringt die durch Neukirch fließende Wesenitz. Größere Städte in der Umgebung sind Bautzen und Bischofswerda .
Angrenzende Gemeinden sind Doberschau-Gaußig, Wilthen und Steinigtwolmsdorf mit den Ortsteilen Ringenhain und Weifa im Landkreis Bautzen, Neustadt in Sachsen im Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge sowie Schmölln-Putzkau im Landkreis Bautzen.
