Leipheim ist eine Stadt im schwäbischen Landkreis Günzburg. Ihr Wahlspruch lautet: „Leipheim – Stadt an der Donau“. Zusammen mit der benachbarten Kreisstadt Günzburg bildet sie ein Doppel-Oberzentrum, eines von vier in der Region Donau-Iller.
Die Stadt liegt im Donauried an der nordöstlichen Grenze des Landkreises Günzburg im Schwäbischen Barockwinkel und Mittel- bzw. Oberschwaben. Des Weiteren ist sie Teil der Region Donau-Iller, einer ländergrenzenüberschreitenden Planungsregion zwischen Bayern und Baden-Württemberg.
