List auf Sylt ist eine Gemeinde im Kreis Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein. Das Seebad liegt im Norden der Insel Sylt und ist die nördlichste Gemeinde Deutschlands. Daher ist sie Mitglied im Zipfelbund. Möwenberg, Mellhörn, Süderheidetal, Westerheide und Klappholttal liegen im Gemeindegebiet.
Die Gemeinde List auf Sylt bildet das nördliche Ende der nordfriesischen Insel Sylt im Nordfriesischen Wattenmeer. Als solche ist sie zugleich die nördlichste Gemeinde der Bundesrepublik Deutschland . Die nördlichste Landstelle bildet dabei die Halbinsel Ellenbogen, welche die Wattenmeer-Bucht Königshafen westlich umschließt. Das Dorf befindet sich am südlichen Ufer des Königshafens.
