Ehningen ist eine Gemeinde in der Region Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg, die direkt im Südwesten an die Kreisstadt Böblingen angrenzt.
Ehningen liegt im Korngäu am nordwestlichen Rande des Naturparks Schönbuch. Das historische Ehningen ist nördlich der Würm gelegen, im Zuge des Wachstums des Ortes fließt die Würm nun mitten durch den Ort. Der zweite größere Wasserlauf Ehningens ist der Krebsbach, der südwestlich des alten Ortskerns in die Würm mündet.
