Eppingen ist eine Stadt im Nordwesten Baden-Württembergs. Sie gehört zur Region Heilbronn-Franken. Sie liegt etwa 22 Kilometer westlich von Heilbronn und etwa 41 Kilometer nordöstlich von Karlsruhe und gehört zum Mittelbereich Heilbronn innerhalb des gleichnamigen Oberzentrums.
Eppingen ist nach Neckarsulm die zweitgrößte Stadt des Landkreises Heilbronn und seit dem 1. Januar 2002 eine Große Kreisstadt.
