Münstertal/Schwarzwald ist eine Gemeinde im Schwarzwald, die etwa 20 Kilometer südlich von Freiburg im Breisgau liegt.
Das Münstertal erstreckt sich von Staufen im Breisgau hinauf in den Schwarzwald. Es teilt sich in mehrere Seitentäler und erstreckt sich so in Richtung Belchen, über den Ortsteil Stohren in Richtung des Freiburger Hausberges Schauinsland und über die Münsterhalde in Richtung Badenweiler. Die Höhenlage von Münstertal erstreckt sich von 380 m bis 1414 m auf dem Belchengipfel und weist damit einen Höhenunterschied von 1060 Meter auf.
