Bogenhausen ist ein Stadtteil der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt München. Bogenhausen ist auch die Bezeichnung für den Münchner Stadtbezirk 13, zu dem außer dem namensgebenden Stadtteil Bogenhausen sieben weitere Stadtteile Münchens gehören. Bogenhausen gehört zu den Spitzenwohnlagen Münchens mit hohen Immobilienpreisen.
Im Jahr 768 wurde Bogenhausen unter der Bezeichnung Pupinhusir erstmals erwähnt. Der Name bedeutet „Haus/Häuser des Poapo/Poppo/Pubo“.
