Marzahn [maʁˈtsaːn] ist ein Ortsteil im Berliner Bezirk Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Der Begriff Marzahn bezeichnet zugleich den ehemaligen Berliner Stadtbezirk Marzahn und die größte Großsiedlung auf dem seinerzeitigen Gebiet der DDR.
Der Ortsteil Marzahn geht auf ein mittelalterliches Angerdorf zurück, das, seinen dörflichen Charakter bewahrend, noch heute erhalten ist. Der Dorfkern steht seit 1977 unter Denkmalschutz. In seiner Umgebung entwickelten sich um 1900 einige Kleinsiedlungsbereiche. Zwischen der zweiten Hälfte der 1970er Jahre und dem Ende der 1980er Jahre entstand rund um das alte Dorf die als üppig durchgrünte Stadtlandschaft konzipierte und realisierte Großwohnsiedlung Marzahn. Die Siedlung wurde überwiegend in Plattenbauweise errichtet.
