Zweibrücken ist eine Stadt in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie ist Sitz des Pfälzischen Oberlandesgerichts und mit 34.091 Einwohnern die kleinste kreisfreie Stadt Deutschlands.
Zweibrücken liegt in der Westpfalz auf der Westricher Hochfläche, unmittelbar an der Grenze zum Saarland. Nach Pirmasens, das am Westrand des Pfälzerwaldes liegt, sind es etwa 26 km, nach Saarbrücken 40 km und nach Kaiserslautern 55 km . Durch Zweibrücken fließen der Schwarzbach, der westlich von Zweibrücken bei Einöd in die Blies einmündet, sowie der Hornbach, der bei Bitsch entspringt und im Stadtgebiet in den Schwarzbach mündet.
