Deux-Ponts est une ville allemande, située dans le Land de Rhénanie-Palatinat. Avec un peu plus de 30 000 habitants, c'est la ville-arrondissement la plus petite d'Allemagne.
Deux-Ponts apparaît pour la première fois dans des documents en l'an 1170. Le comté de Deux-Ponts est créé en 1182 par démembrement du comté de Sarrebruck, vassal de l'évêque de Metz.
