Der Kreis Segeberg ist ein Kreis im Süden des Landes Schleswig-Holstein. Er gehört zur Metropolregion Hamburg. Kreisstadt ist Bad Segeberg.
Der Kreis Segeberg grenzt im Norden an den Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde, an die kreisfreie Stadt Neumünster und an den Kreis Plön, im Osten an den Kreis Ostholstein, im Südosten an den Kreis Stormarn und an die Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg und im Westen an die Kreise Pinneberg und Steinburg.
