Der Bahnhof München-Riem ist ein S-Bahn-Halt und Umschlagbahnhof im Osten Münchens im Stadtbezirk Trudering-Riem an der Bahnstrecke München–Mühldorf. Die Südseite des Bahnhofs mit dem Bahnsteig Richtung Markt Schwaben liegt im Stadtgebiet von München, die Nordseite mit dem Bahnsteig stadteinwärts hingegen im Gebiet der Gemeinde Aschheim im Ortsteil Dornach.
Der Bahnhof Riem wurde am 1. Mai 1871 zusammen mit der Bahnstrecke nach Mühldorf eröffnet. Zur Anbindung des neuen Rangierbahnhofs München Ost in Richtung Mühldorf nahm die Deutsche Reichsbahn am 1. März 1926 eine eingleisige Verbindungsstrecke von Riem zum Rangierbahnhof in Betrieb. Am 1. Oktober 1938 wurde er in Bahnhof München-Riem umbenannt. Seit dem 28. Mai 1972 wird der Personenbahnhof nur noch von Zügen der S-Bahn München bedient.
