Roitzsch ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Sandersdorf-Brehna im Landkreis Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Sachsen-Anhalt, Deutschland.
Roitzsch ist eine der ältesten Siedlungen des Landkreises Anhalt-Bitterfeld. Bis weit ins 19. Jahrhundert hinein übertraf die Einwohnerzahl die der anderen Ortschaften. Zu erklären ist diese große Einwohnerzahl mit der riesigen Feldflur und seiner Fruchtbarkeit und der mannigfaltigen Verbreitung von Handwerk und Gewerken. Die älteste Namensform des Ortes lautet Rogacz - ein alter Sorbengau. Am 20. November 1043 unterzeichnete Heinrich III. in Ingelheim eine Urkunde, in der der bischöflichen Kirche zu Naumburg eine Besitzung mit allem Zubehör geschenkt wird.
