Hannover Hauptbahnhof ist der größte Personenbahnhof der niedersächsischen Landeshauptstadt Hannover und steht mit täglich etwa 280.000 Reisenden hinter Hamburg, Frankfurt , München, Köln, Berlin auf Platz sechs der meistfrequentierten Fernbahnhöfe der Deutschen Bahn. Er ist zudem wichtigster Knoten im örtlichen Nahverkehr und der S-Bahn Hannover.
