Der Simssee ist ein See in Oberbayern. Er ist der letzte Überrest des Rosenheimer Sees, der sich am Ende der Würm-Eiszeit bis ins jetzige Gebiet des Simssees erstreckte.
Er liegt 7 km östlich der kreisfreien Stadt Rosenheim und ist mit einer Oberfläche von 6,49 km² der größte See im Landkreis Rosenheim. Die maximale Tiefe beträgt 22,5 m. Sein Abfluss speist die Sims. Die Erneuerungszeit des Simssees beträgt rund anderthalb Jahre. Sein Einzugsgebiet umfasst 59,51 km².
