Schloss Cecilienhof, ein Gebäudeensemble im englischen Landhausstil, entstand in den Jahren 1913–1917 nach Plänen des Architekten Paul Schultze-Naumburg. Es liegt im nördlichen Teil des Neuen Gartens in Potsdam, unweit vom Ufer des Jungfernsees. Der letzte Schlossbau der Hohenzollern wurde unter Kaiser Wilhelm II. für seinen Sohn Kronprinz Wilhelm und dessen Gemahlin Cecilie aus dem Haus Mecklenburg-Schwerin errichtet.
Weltgeschichtlich bekannt wurde Cecilienhof als Ort der Potsdamer Konferenz vom 17. Juli bis 2. August 1945. Auf der Rasenfläche im Ehrenhof befindet sich seither ein fünfzackiger Sowjetstern aus roten Blumen, dessen Erstbepflanzung Gartenoberinspektor Paul Molske auszuführen hatte.
