Das Theater am Kurfürstendamm zählt zu den bekanntesten Privattheatern Berlins. Es befand sich gemeinsam mit der Komödie am Kurfürstendamm im Ku’damm-Karree bis 2018 auf dem Kurfürstendamm. Seit September 2018 spielen das Theater und die Komödie am Kurfürstendamm unter dem Namen Komödie am Kurfürstendamm im Schiller Theater.
In den ehemaligen Räumen der „Berliner Sezession“, wo unter anderem impressionistische Kunst von Max Liebermann gezeigt wurde, wurde am 8. Oktober 1921 das Theater am Kurfürstendamm eröffnet. Die Pläne für den Umbau stammten vom Theaterarchitekten Oskar Kaufmann, der in Berlin auch das Hebbeltheater, die Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, die Krolloper, die Komödie am Kurfürstendamm sowie das Renaissance Theater entwarf.
