Das Ostragehege ist ein innerstädtischer Landschaftsraum Dresdens im Westen des Ortsamtsbereichs Altstadt und gehört weitestgehend zum Stadtteil Friedrichstadt. Es besteht aus dem Großen und dem Kleinen Ostragehege. Eigentlich Teil einer breiten Auenlandschaft der Elbe, wurde es durch Hans Erlwein Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts zur Bebauung erschlossen. Benannt ist das Ostragehege nach dem Dorf Ostra, das 1206 erstmals erwähnt wurde. Der Name Ostra bedeutet „Insel“ und trifft damit begrifflich den Charakter des Geheges gut, obwohl das ehemalige Dorf an Stelle der heutigen Friedrichstadt lag.
Das Ostragehege beginnt im Osten an der Marienbrücke und wird fast im Halbkreis im Norden durch die Elbe begrenzt. Im Süden liegt die Friedrichstadt. Im Westen und Süden endet das Ostragehege am größten Binnenhafen Dresdens, dem Alberthafen Dresden-Friedrichstadt.
