München Hauptbahnhof ist der zentrale Bahnhof in der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt München. Mit täglich insgesamt 413.000 Reisenden und Besuchern ist er nach dem Hamburger Hauptbahnhof und dem Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof der am drittstärksten frequentierte Fernbahnhof der Deutschen Bahn. Er befindet sich seit 2019 im Umbau.
Der Kopfbahnhof gehört zu den 21 Bahnhöfen der höchsten Preisklasse 1 von DB Station&Service. Unter allen deutschen Bahnhöfen besitzt er mit 32 ober- und zwei unterirdischen Bahnsteiggleisen die höchste und weltweit die zweithöchste Zahl . Mit Ausnahme der S-Bahn ist der Bahnhof erste oder letzte Station für fast alle ihn anfahrenden Züge. Die Fläche der Gebäude und der Gleise beträgt insgesamt ungefähr 760.000 Quadratmeter.
