Gellmersbach ist ein Teilort der Stadt Weinsberg . Die ehemalige Gemeinde wurde am 1. Januar 1975 in die Stadt Weinsberg eingemeindet. Sie hat 914 Einwohner und eine Fläche von 3,36 km² und bildet eine eigene Ortschaft.
Gellmersbach liegt im Tal der Gellmer, eines Zuflusses des Eberbachs, der seinerseits in die Sulm fließt, und somit in einem Seitental des Weinsberger Tales. Die nächsten Orte sind in jeweils nur wenigen Kilometern Entfernung die Gemeinden Eberstadt und Erlenbach, das zu Eberstadt gehörende Lennach sowie die Stadt Weinsberg. Direkt jenseits der ehemaligen Gemarkungsgrenze zu Weinsberg liegt das Klinikum am Weissenhof.
