Das Hotel Royal ist ein historisches Hotel im Herzen von Aarhus, Dänemark, im zentralen Stadtteil Indre By. Es blickt auf den Dom von Aarhus und den großen Platz Store Torv. Das Hotel gehört zu den am höchsten bewerteten Hotels in Dänemark und hat eine Geschichte als das renommierteste Hotel der Stadt.
Das Hotel, das heute 64 Zimmer hat, wurde 1838 von dem Gastwirt Niels Larsen aus Odense gegründet. Das neue Hotel wurde aus zwei bestehenden Gebäuden errichtet, die auf den zentralen Platz von Aarhus blicken. Es etablierte sich schnell als luxuriös und zog Klienten wie Könige, Politiker, Schriftsteller, Filmstars und Sänger an. Es wurde zum führenden Hotel der Stadt und zum Treffpunkt für die lokale High Society.
