Hadsund ist eine dänische Ortschaft im Südosten der Mariagerfjord Kommune in der Region Nordjylland mit 4973 Einwohnern. Die Stadt entstand entlang der alten Landstraße zwischen Aalborg und Hobro und ist ein Hauptverkehrsknotenpunkt zwischen Kronjylland und Himmerland.Aus der ehemaligen Eisenbahnersiedlung entwickelte sich ein modernes Handels- und Industriezentrum. Hadsund ist heute die zweitgrößte Stadt in der Mariagerfjord Kommune, in der als einer der Hauptorte in der Kommune neben Hobro Wohnungsbau gefördert wird und die Bevölkerung am stärksten wächst.
