Lemóniz[3] ist eine spanische Gemeinde an der Küste der Provinz Bizkaia, die zur Autonomen Gemeinschaft Baskenland gehört. In den 1970er Jahren wurde sie berühmt durch die Wahl für den Bau eines Kernkraftwerks, dessen Erstellung abgeschlossen wurde, das jedoch nie in Betrieb ging.
