Piornal ist eine spanische Gemeinde in der Provinz Cáceres, Extremadura. Sie liegt in der Gemeinschaft des Jerte-Tals, an der Grenze zur Gemeinschaft von La Vera, die über ihren Gebirgspass zu erreichen ist. Sie erhebt sich auf 1175 Metern Höhe, über dem Hochland der Sierra de Tormantos, am Fuß der Sierra de Gredos. Ihre durchschnittliche Höhe beträgt 1200 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, die höchste im Tal und in ganz Extremadura.
