Die Exposició Internacional de Barcelona war die 20. vom Bureau International des Expositions offiziell anerkannte Weltausstellung. Sie fand nach der Eröffnung am 19. Mai 1929 durch den spanischen König Alfons XIII. vom 20. Mai 1929 bis zum 15. Januar 1930 in Barcelona statt.
Schon 1888 war in Barcelona eine Weltausstellung veranstaltet worden. Diese hatte jedoch nur sehr mäßigen Erfolg, weshalb sich die verantwortlichen Politiker entschlossen, eine erneute Bewerbung vorzubereiten.
