La Cala Cortina ist ein Strand, der zur Gemeinde Cartagena gehört, in der Nähe des Hafens und der Stadt Cartagena, konkret im Stadtteil Santa Lucía.
Um von der Stadt dorthin zu gelangen, muss man den Hafen durch den Stadtteil Santa Lucía umfahren und einen Tunnel durchqueren. Diese Strecke dient als touristischer Spaziergang, da man den natürlichen Hafen, umgeben von Klippen und Bergen, bewundern kann. Die Aussichtsplattform, die als Parkplatz dient, bietet einen Blick auf die Bucht und das Mittelmeer. Nach den letzten Renovierungen bietet sie einen Spielbereich für Kinder, eine Uferpromenade, Liegen und Sonnenschirme sowie ein Restaurant. Im Jahr 2019 wurde der Strand von den Lesern des Luxus- und Lifestyle-Reisemagazins Condé Nast Traveler als der zweitbeste in Spanien ausgewählt.[1]
